Why was Tool cancelled?
As previously reported, Tool made the call to cancel their North American tour last year as they felt they couldn't "ethically" keep fans' money tied up in ticket sales during a global pandemic. "It is with great pleasure I get to announce our return to the road," drummer Danny Carey said in a statement.

What was the Tool lawsuit about?
In 2007, one of Jones' friends sued Tool, claiming he'd created artwork for the band and never received credit. They handed over the matter to their insurance company — but the insurer refused to handle the claim, and when Tool contested said refusal, the company filed its own lawsuit against the group.
